Workshops

Our hands-on workshops introduce kids to coding and technology in a fun, engaging way! We customize each
experience based on the interests and goals of the group—whether it’s a one-time session or a multi-day program.
From robotics and game development to web design, our workshops blend creativity, teamwork, and real-world
problem-solving to make coding exciting and accessible for all skill levels.

Check out the Girl Scouts Troop 5700 Robotics with Python Workshop (February – March 2025)

Overview:
This workshop series guides Troop 5700 Girl Scouts from the basics of Python programming to designing
autonomous robots using gears and mechanisms in LEGO Mindstorms Robot Inventor.
The first workshop introduced Python programming, focusing on programming the hub’s inputs and outputs and
navigating the Mindstorms app interface.
In the second workshop, the girls learned about control structures and operators, enabling them to create more
advanced and sophisticated programs, and finally, in the third workshop of this series, the girls explored the use of
functions and variables, enabling them to write programs that are both powerful and efficient.
